Just a 15-minute walk from the farm, you will find the traditional sea side town of Dawlish with a beautiful golden beach.

The Dawlish ‘Lawn and Brook’ are located in the heart of the town centre and is home to a range of birds as well as the famous black swans.

Dawlish Warren beach and nature reserve are approximately 2 miles away and boast lovely sand dunes and a perfect place for spotting wildlife.

There are plenty of cycle routes in and around Dawlish to explore. The Exe Estuary Trailstretches 20 miles from Dawlish to Exmouth, with stunning scenery along the coast.

Dawlish also offers some beautiful walks for those who would like to explore on foot. TheSouth West Coast Path links you to Dawlish Warren, Exmouth, Teignmouth and Torbay.

The South Devon railway is a multi-award-winning tourist attraction that runs along the coast from Exeter to Newton Abbot providing stunning views of the estuary and the sea.


Teignmouth is a beautiful coastal town with historic buildings, long sandy beaches and an array of restaurants and cafes offering fresh locally sourced food.

Teignmouth is the perfect place to explore with the family- with a Victorian pier, play park, Shaldon Zoo, crazy golf, outdoor swimming pool and skate park for the kids to have their own adventures.

Local water sports are on offer for you dare devils! Why not pop down to the beach and try out some kayaking, coasteering or paddle boarding.
